Environmental and climate challenges are a serious global threat to the urban and rural living of many people. In many cases, local institutions are under an enormous pressure to not only tackle those challenges, but to sustain their development under any circumstances. Aiming to prepare and inspire local institutions for proper and committed environmental and climate action, the Intergreen Project focuses on building a learning programme that will enhance the green and sustainability capacities of the European municipalities, starting from a small number of participants from minimum 6 pilot-municipalities in France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus and North Macedonia.
