A survey of the training needs of the Municipality of Lousada

From February 20th to March 10th, 2023, the Municipality of Lousada has conducted an online survey dedicated to municipalities’ training needs and priorities for building greener, sustainable, and more resilient communities.

The survey and the particular questionnaire were created with the aim of helping Inter Green’s partners to build tailor-made training programs, including free learning materials for municipalities of the six countries of the project (France, Italy, North of Macedonia, Cyprus, and Greece).

The questionnaire has been distributed online and as a result, valuable input has been gathered from 7 representatives of the municipality.

Based on the results, municipality's employees have expressed need to improve their social engagement tactics and, in general, their soft skills to better address the challenges they are facing in their daily work such as, communicating the objectives and benefits of their urban planning related projects, engaging local communities, ensuring general public support, including topics such as creative sustainable land management techniques etc.
